Employer adoption slowed in 2007, and will moderate again in 2008, according to a Mercer survey.

A member writes: "One of our salespeople requested that their spouse be dropped from the health plan. They are in the middle of a divorce. The salesperson has family coverage and the spouse is eligible for separate health coverage at the other employer. The spouse does not know and would not agree to this.
